Autocad does not recognise the Persian fonts in previous projects

Hello, I have installed Persian language pack on Auto-cad for Mac. However, when I open the previous project which has some texts in Persian, the application doesn't recognise the installed Persian fonts and therefore, it displays some wierd fonts. I am able to add new text in Persian but can't see the previous texts in Persian. I would appreciate your help.

AFAIK there is no Persian language pack for AutoCAD for Mac. Can you elaborate what did you install and how?

Are you sure that existing text in the drawing use Persian SHX fonts for text steles which you have on your Mac?

So that is a lie since that does not exist: so what exactly did you install? Find out then let us know what exactly you installed, perhaps there is a clue there.

Also confirm if these fonts are supposed to be SHX or TTF, and what program or AutoCAD version created those older project files please.

Also list your exact AutoCAD/LT year version and your MacOS please.

Hi, I think you could have interpreted your message in a batter way. No one is here to lie 🙂 I have downloaded the Persian language package from another website. I am using macOS Catalina 10.15.7.

The fonts are supposed to be TTF, I believe. The Project was created using AutoCAD version 2014.

I am using Autocad 2020 right now. Thanks for the assistance.

true but it got your attention, which was the point 🙂

You still did not answer my questions though:
Is this the MacOS Persian Language Package? One more time, there is NO AutoCAD/LT Persian Language pack for AutoCAD/LT for MAC, and the OS language package has no effect on the AutoCAD program as far as I am aware.

So you don't really know for sure? What are the missing font names listed in the DWG files you opened, STYLE command is a good place to start looking for them, you can then search the web for them to confirm what they are meant to be and if you actually have them installed on your system. FWIW these are more commonly SHX fonts, not TTF, in AutoCAD.

Hello, Pendean
Well, since there is no Autocad Persina language pack, I had to install it
from one of the Persian websites. I have tried to install both TTf and SHX
fonts. When I open the Styles command, I can see there is a folder for
Farsi fonts but the style is displayed as mirrored English fonts.
