Autocad 2022 plotting problems

Hi everyone

I'm facing some problems with autocad layout overnight, because it started only today.

First of all, I can't print plot style preferences, for example even if I set monochrome in page setup I can't neither see layers in black and white nor print them in monochrome. Then, autocad has a problem when printing to pdf, it loads for too muche, it comes out that the application doesn't respond, and after a bit of time it prints.

Has anyone faced this problems or knows the solution?

Thanks

Is the problem one single file?
Or all DWG files?

Did your MacOS update over the weekend?
Did something else?

Hi @giovanni.cerza ,

If you've upgraded to macOS Monterey, you'll need to install the latest update for your version of AutoCAD.

For AutoCAD for Mac 2022, the Update is >>>>>here<<<<<

First of all, thank you for answering
I've already downloaded the latest AutoCAD 2022 update and yes, I run MacOS
Monterey, but the program keeps having these problems.
Anything else I can do?

Thank you for answering
The problem is for every DWG file and not for a few of them.
My mac has the latest MacOS Monterey update and the latest AutoCAD for mac
2022 update.
I really don't know what to do. Do you?

Can you share one of your drawings with this problem?

What Printer do you use to create PDFs?

Can you attach screenshot with Page Setup or Print window?

Sure, sorry for the late response. I've attached both the dwg file and the page setup screenshot.

Hi @giovanni.cerza ,

You have problems with monochrome output because of the current visual style in viewport.

It is Conceptual:

But monochrome output works only with 2D Wireframe visual style:

So you have to change visual style in all viewports you want to plot in monochrome to 2D Wireframe.

Okay thank you so much, but do you think this is correlated to the problem that when I print it barely crashes?

When you print viewport with Visual Style other than 2D Wireframe, AutoCAD creates raster image and not vectors in PDF. This could be the reason for the long time print process.

I put the visual in 2D Wireframe in Model but in the viewports the lines are still coloured instead of monochrome, am I doing something wrong?

You need to activate each viewport in each Layout and change Visual Style in it.
