hello.

I have installed AutoCAD 2016 but for some reason it keeps me files to AutoCAD 2013. How can it be?

Nor i cant install fonts in Hebrew the same way i did in autocad 2015.

help 😕

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear about the issue. To clarify, do you mean it is installing AutoCAD 2016 in the 2013 folder or that you are saving as a 2013 document?

 

What specifically is happening when you try to install Hebrew fonts?

hey!
it’s seems like i have 2016 as you can see in the pic, but when i’m saving- the higher i can save is 2013.

Hi,

If you mean DWG format of the drawing (2013) which you can see in "Save As" dialog box, than it is OK - the DWG format is not changed and remains the same from 2013 version.

About installing fonts: if you mean SHX fonts, than in 2016 version you don't need to put Hebrew (or other) SHX fonts inside AutoCAD application folder. Now you can put your SHX file to the folder which is on the Support Files Search path, which is assigned on the Application tab of the AutoCAD Preferences window. You can add your custom folder to Support Files Search path and put SHX file there.

oh, i asked about the 2013 beacuse when i had autocad 2015, i could save it in this format (2015 i mean).

AutoCAD 2015 native DWG format is also 2013 DWG format, and there is no 2015 file format:
