Annotative Blocks Coming in as Non-annotative

I'm using Autocad 2018.1 update Alpha.  When I drag and drop annotative blocks from the content panel, some of them come in at the proper annotative scale, but several come in at a 1:1 scale and are shown to be non-annotative in the properties palette.  These blocks all reside in a common drawing file, and are all annotative.

The "Automatically add scale to automated objects" is checked

I've never had this issue in any other versions of the software before.

Any thoughts?

As an addendum to the original post, I noticed this issue does not occur when I drop these blocks into a default Autocad drawing template.  It only occurs in a drawing file that I have set up myself.

Curiouser and curiouser...

Hi Bret,

You should post questions about Alpha (Beta) software on Beta Forums, not here.
Most likely nobody can answer your question here, because the Forum is about shipping (final) version of AutoCAD for Mac.

My mistake.  I will do that.  Thanks.

Anyway, please check that you don't have blocks (non-annotative) in your current drawing with the same name as annotative blocks you are trying to insert from Content Palette.
