Adding Hatch patterns in Autocad 2018 Mac OS Catalina

I am trying to add Hatch Patterns in Autocad 2018 on a Mac OS Catalina.
-Library, -Autodesk & then my only options are:
-Adlm
-AdSSo
-ADUT
-CLM
I tried uploading them in autoCad but they are not working. I think they are in the wrong place, but I can't find where I am supposed to put theses. Nor can I find where the existing hatches are located. Please help!
I have downloaded stone hatch patterns from different sites and none are working.
Thanks

Tried this?

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/forums/replypage/board-id/706/message-id/1006568

looks like

Home/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/AutoCAD<version>/Rxx.x/roaming/@<LANGUAGE>@/Support/Hatch Patterns

is where you should find and possibly store custom patterns.

Normally I'd put all custom patterns in a separate location then tell ACAD where they are rather than where a reinstall would blow them away but for the time being check out what's there.   Also check out where AC4Mac lets you tell it where to search for patterns. Good luck.

So I have my new hatches in a folder I set up called "Hatches" In Autocad I went to the Hatch menu, Open Library, Add Patterns. They are added but don't work.  I got these patterns for stone from a few different sites.  www.centurionstone.com, www.coronado.com.  Maybe these hatches are not compatible.  Do you recommend anywhere else?  I was selecting a stone from Eldorado, but they didn't seem to have hatches on their site.

Thanks.

Eldorado offers PAT files of their stonework.  Try this link:

http://enrichment.eldoradostone.com/cad-drawings?utm_campaign=CAD%20File%20Downloads&utm_content=Res...

We keep links such as this here:

Hi Shawn,

I have not tested www.coronado.com, but all hatch pattern files (PAT) from http://www.centurionstone.com/architects-and-designers/cad-drawings
are not AutoCAD hatch patterns, they are CorelDraw pattens and cannot be used in AutoCAD.

I am taking a course in AC and one of the lessons involves Hatch Work. My program doesn't seem to have a hatch library as is shown in the instructional. I've scoured this forum for similar issues which did not offer any answers. I do not need custom hatches and delving into the system preferences, application and support files shows a very short list with no hatches. Am I to assume that there isn't a library that comes preloaded into the program and if so, where can I download a basic library that would normally come with AutoCAD?

Bit of a change. I found the hatch library in Settings when using the tool... but this library has to be accessed everytime in this roundabout manned instead of the dropdown menu that is in the overhead box when in the tool. How do I access this library the easy way rather than going into settings each time?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Gregory,

In order to access Hatch Library window you need to click on Hatch pattern on Hatch Visor:
