A weird grey panel/resctangle covering my drawings

Hello, I'm an AutoCAD 2023 user. I'm facing a problem with both my model space and layouts, basically, a huge grey rectangle or panel coming from the right side is covering about 70% of the screen. I don't know how to remove it since there are no buttons to press. I even tried deleting CAD and all the supporting files as well as cache and reinstalled only to find the issue still there (tried doing this twice)... I have submissions right now, I'm really scared to miss them, and I don't know what to do. Please let me know if anyone knows how to fix this. Thank you

Are you running the Mac version of AutoCAD?

Hi @1082634 ,

This problem related to the new macOS Tahoe, which you already installed on your Mac I believe.

Not sure that Autodesk will fix this for 2023 version (2024, 2025 and 2026 should receive an Update), so the only workaround for now is to undock palettes with this button:

Unfortunately, this button does not show for me :') But yes actually, I just updated my Mac and I noticed that the issue happened right after it. Do you recommend that I download the 2024 version so that once Autodesk fixes it, it automatically updates?

I just had a Customer with this Issue If you

1. Undock the Pallets on the Right Side First, leave them Floating.

2. The Go to the Command Line and Dock the Command Line.

3. Stretch the Command Line the Whole Width of Model Space View Port

    you ordinarily required.

That Should Fix it.

IF possible then Save that "arrangement of tools" WorkSpace as My-Workspace.

This can be used as an emergency fall back position if you like or you can just persevere with it.

Have you tried downloading & install AutoCAD / AutoCAD LT for Mac 2026.1 update?
