Option to specify a quantity in the "API" (main component) edit

Option to specify a quantity in the "API" (main component) edit

Option to specify a quantity in the "API" (main component) edit

Unlike in the component edit, where a quantity can be specified, this option is not available in the API edit.

Why?

When I generate the parts list for my schematic, I am always forced to manually enter the quantity of the main API component. However, this works fine for references in multiple bills of materials.

Can't you just use the C:wd_mod_1000_xdata to add to the QTY ?

I don't know how to use this command.
C:\wd_mod_1000\xdata?

It's an API command. Not sure what you meant with "API" then...

API ("Automate Programmable Industriel" in French) = PLC (programmable logic controller).

Sorry.

So, to summarize, it's not possible to specify a quantity for the main component of the PLC.

However, it is possible to specify a quantity for the secondary part numbers of the main component.

And PLC is SPS in German 😄

Then I understand what you're looking for. You have my vote.

I guess Autodesk will argue that the "main" part should only be 1.... But, maybe you want to order a spare one?

Almost... You can't attach images when answering by e-mail.
