MultiLevel Terminals

MultiLevel Terminals

Hi,

When using Multilevel terminals, each level have his own number. But when creating Terminal Strip, we can see only one terminal number in the footprint.

Should be a special footprint for Multilevel terminal with 2 terminal numbers or more (depending on the number of levels).

Cheers!

I see this idea has got a lot of votes, but isn't this possible already?

Just add the L??TERM &/ L??WIRENO attributes where ?? is the level you want to display, starting at 02 (as TERM and WIRENO handles level 1)

They are already a part of many multi-level panel terminals that comes with AcadE, such as Siemens\1011-2DG.DWG . It's just invisible by default.

Or am I misunderstanding the idea?

I did an article on Multilevel Terminal blocks that addresses this issue: http://blog.hagerman.com/2014/02/04/multi-pole-multi-level-terminal-blocks/

Great post @RickFrance. I've subscribed to your blog now. Is it possible to subscribe via RSS? I only found the e-mail option...

Thanks Thrond,

I feel ridiculous, the attribute is Invisible!

I guess that's why I missed it...

Thanks again!

It's possible to improve in next relase of electrical to show all level by default? and if we want, could make invisible that attribute.

Best Regards.
