Wire number not updating in custom symbol (naming convention is correct: HDV11_002)

I want my custom symbol to look like this:

where the wire numbers will update on the field wiring and the wiring from the fused terminal block to the PLC card (as shown).

 

My custom symbol looks like this when inserted:

Problems: my wire number is not updating and there is not a wire number from the terminal to the PLC card. I think I'm doing the wire connections incorrectly (x4term01 etc.) because on my other revisions the wire number from terminal to card did update correctly with different wire connection placement.

You won't get a wire number block located INSIDE your block to update.

 

I'm curious as to WHY you want to put all this into one symbol... If you use multiple symbols it will work as expected.
