What does the beginning address and quick picks mean when inserting a PLC?

Not sure what to insert when asked for the beginning address. This could be a very obvious answer but I am completely missing it.

Let me know, thanks!

Different customers/PLC manufacturers use differet numbering schemes.

Siemens often use the prefix "Q" for outputs and "I" for inputs.

You can add the numbering scheme you mostly use to the quickpicks in the WD.ENV file.

Just remove the asterisk in front of this line:

*PLC_ADDRESS_FORMAT,I:00%10%2;I:%1%2/00;--;O:00%10%2;O:%1%2/00;--;,default PLC address formats for "Quick pick"
