Using destination arrows

Hello, I'm using a single out arrow and multiple in arrows on a sheet. The project properties for cross-referencing are set to %S%N. However when the cross referencing displays it shows as the sheet then the shortened line number

(IE instead of 1005, it displays as 05, so sheet 10 line 1005 shows as 10-05).

How can I fix this?

Also, I seem to remember back in older versions of AE when the string of cross references was too long and you wanted to "wrap" it there was a way. Is this still possible?

In the project properties under Cross-References you can set up the format to be '%S%N' . Be sure to apply the project defaults to any drawings as well since they can be different.

There is also a way to wrap xrefs like you describe.

You're welcome! That's a feature I rarely use and had to think where that was even located.

To wrap the text i.e. to change the Cross - Reference Line to multiple text, add vertical bar (|) in the project / drawing properties as shown below:

This way you don't need to convert xrefs manually every time. ACADE automatically converts xrefs to multiple text lines when you perform project or drawing-wide xref update. Very cool feature.

But can you control WHERE the break happens doing this?

This setting converts the string of xrefs (two or more xrefs separated by comma by default) into the multiple mtext lines exactly the same way as using command AEXREF2TEXT or icon as @ trabuck7 posted. If you can control the break in the other method, you should be able to do in this method as well.

ramesh, unfortuneately this wouldn't be the best answer for me because it seems to affect all cross references, not 

just the destination or source arrow references. It seems to have affected my cross references for relay children as well. Good idea tho.

This does project-wide or drawing-wide (all xrefs) so that you don't need to do it manually. If you don't want this to happen on a particular drawing, you need to replace vertical bar with comma.
