Update wire after change in Wire Type

Hi,

I would like to ask the community if its possible to edit the layer name of a wire and it automatically update the wires affected in all the drawings of the project?

Let me explain by an exemple, we created a bunch of wire in our project with Layer Name : "RED-4AWG, GREEN-16AWG, etc". Also, we used the layer name in the wire numbering.

Now, management, want to remove the colour in the wire numbering but we have over 500 wires in our project.

If I remove "RED" in the Layer Name, does all wires previously called "RED-4AWG" will change to only "4WG" and then I could Retag All wires with the new name?

yea been there, so the answer is yes it will update the wires but the actual descriptions that are a result of labeling them wont be updated automatically by changing the wire layer description. Hope this helps.
