Trying to insert Vertical Circuit Breaker, But Keep Getting HORIZONTAL???

I copied the NFPA symbols to another directory, for the purpose of updating the symbols to match our company text and symbols styles, without having to create a whole new folder of symbols from scratch.

All the other symbol components I've added in the Icon Menu Wizard  seem to work perfectly, vertical or horizontal, UNTIL,...

Under the Icon Menu Wizard, I added in components HCB1.dwg and VCB1.dwg. (horizontal and vertical breaker symbols)

Though, when trying to insert either one of those into a drawing, I always end up with HCB1.dwg.

Everything under the VCB1 symbol clearly says VCB1, but I still get the HCB1 symbol.

Here's a picture attached with all the screen shots described below.

First on the top left, is a shot of the Icon Menu Wizard properties, with file VCB1.dwg listed.

Under that, is a shot of VCB1.dwg open in cad. Obviously a vertical breaker.

Top right of that is a shot of the "mouse hover" in the Icon Menu, stating the VCB1.dwg vertical breaker will be inserted.

But then upon inserting the symbol, I get the horizontal symbol shown under it.

And below that is a shot of  the properties of the block showing HCB1.

Why does it keep inserting HCB1?

I completely deleted both symbols from the symbols menu, and reinserted VCB1 ONLY, and still get the HCB1 symbol.

AAACK!

draw a vertical wire line first then see if it inserts vcb1 on it.

Nice, Thanks! 👍

That was it.

Still brand new to electrical.

Didn't even know it was all automatic like that, and I was trying to insert on a plane background to get an icon image for the symbol.

Awesome.

Just a little FYI... You can also uncheck this checkbox in the Icon Menu:
