Text appears light and grayed out when plotted

Anonymous
Not applicable

I tried to plot a drawing set to PDF files, using publisher.  Now when I open a drawing all of my text comes in light.  I have checked the styles in use and they are all pointed to the romsans.shx font. I have not been able to find the variable that was switched.  I have also checked the plot style table file and that has not changed.  Also when viewing my custom blocks, I have text moving under other text.  I don't know where to start to correct this, and I don't want to have to reinstall autocad.  Any Suggestions?

Can you post any pictures?  Try zooming in on the pdf, sometimes that can affect the display

Accepted solution

I think i have found the solution, link http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-electrical-general/romans-shx-textstyle-looks-and-plots-differ... , I looked at the command line and it was doing exactly what the link described, I am going to try the fix and see if that helps,

In answer to your question the fonts changed on my display, and plotted out the same way. not shure what changed but will try this to see if it helps.  Thanks for the reply.
