Terminal Blocks not functioning correctly in AutoCAD Electrical 2023

They say you get more flies with honey than you do vinegar, but this is getting ridiculous. Autodesk, I've had about enough of you not fixing the broken terminal issues that I'm sure more than one person has complained about.

From the terminal strip editor lacking any ability to resize the dialog box, to losing all changes if you don't apply them when you have to try to fix a mistake.  The terminal strip editor has gone unchanged for 10 years, while other changes have been made to other parts of the system. There is zero justification why the Edit Terminal Symbol Installation, Location and Tag Strip fields are nearly 3 times as large as the Number field. Wire numbers can be just as wide as the Tag Strip, so why can't the box be BIGGER so you can see the COMPLETE wire number???

Now that I've completed that venting, on to the current issue:

I'm having an issue where the terminal block won't populate the wire number. I have two wires that meet at a corner, both wires have wire numbers on them, but yet the terminal block fails to populate the wire number.

I've done everything except reinstall ACADE (which I'm not going to do). It worked on the first terminal but won't do anything on the other two terminals. Even the GND TB populated, and it has a fixed wire number.

If you redraw these two terminals and their connections... Any difference?

What about page wide/project wide wire numbering.. any difference in behaviour?

I redrew the connections and terminals multiple times and still no change. I didn't run a page wide wire numbering, as everything on the sheet was fine. I did force the wire numbers onto the terminal block, but still shouldn't have had to. Doesn't matter if the TB goes in first and I wire to it or the wires are there and I put the TB in, the wire number on the TB should have populated.

Have you checked if that attribute for the terminal is hidden? Something similar happened to me, except it was the tag strip attribute that was hidden.

No, that wasn't the issue. Thanks for checking though. 🙂
