Question about the surfer:
Is it possible for the "goto" function to open a 2nd window, so you could have the SRC and DST open side-by-side in different windows?
Re-phrase: get surfer to open a 2nd dwg, so both SRC and DST dwgs are open?
(Normally "goto" opens the selected target in the current window)
Wondering if there is a CTRL or SHIFT option, a feature I don't know about
Suppose dwg "A" has a SRC
Open surfer
The surfer shows me there is a DST in dwg "B"
Looking for a way to have surfer open "B" while keeping "A" open
The way that AutoCAD Electrical works it is not advisable to have more than one drawing open from a project at a time, that is why the surf tool closes the current drawing and opens the new destination drawing.

Very good, I did not know this, however, it still doesn't invalidate what I said. Having too many drawings open even just more than one can be trouble and may lead to a corrupt database. I would advise against it myself.
