Sub Components Units do not Display

I can't get the UM to show up in the BOM for sub components. Any ideas of what I am doing wrong?Capture1.PNGCapture2.PNG

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Just out of curiosity. Will running the Schematic BOM make any difference?

Trond, thanks for replying. Unfortunately it does not seem to matter which one I run.

I'm not seeing anything in the UM field either.  I haven't tried to use it in a very long time though.  I guess somewhere along the way the updates caused a regression related to unit of measure.

Meaning you don't think there is anything I can do about it?

I got it...

of course I put in 20.5 for the count...and it only reports the integer value...

These values were on the panel footprints themselves... not the schematic.

oops, not a sub...

Yep, doesn't pull for multiple catalog entries.

maybe both have to be same units?

nope.

Not pulling multicatalog UM.

Xdata is there though:

I just wrote my own tool to measure stuff (or get length data and the units) and update the BOM myself.

Unconditionally that is just for first level assembly. I am wanting to be able to add units in the "multiple  catalog" as well.

Looks like this version of ACADE won't do that.

Besides, the limitation of only being able to have nonrational numbers in the "count" area sort of limits it's usefulness...

The problem can be solved with code, that's what I wound up doing for our wireway, dinrail, and busbars.

The data is probably in the project/dwgs/blocks/attributes... it's just a matter of getting at it and putting it to work for you.

Great, I love having software that requires me to use my own code to use the software properly.

Job security, built into the application...

Well if one can code that is...
