Can anyone else confirm this? @PatMurnen_Adsk ?

Here's a video of me using Scoot first, then move circuit:

Trond,

Yes, I am able to reproduce this. In some cases it actually works ok. I tried it on a drawing in the NFPADEMO project and it worked fine. But, I tried it in the IEC60617DEMO and it didn't. It doesn't seem related to using IEC tagging though which was my first guess. Anyway, I will log this. I guess after using the Move Circuit you would need to use the Component Cross-Reference command.

Regards,

Pat

I've sent you a drawing by e-mail Pat. Hope you can have a look.

Trond,

I did some more research on this and I think I found the reason the Move Circuit sometimes updates cross-referencing and other times it does not. It looks like the logic is that if the drawing is set up for Sequential component tagging then the Move Circuit dose not update the cross-referencing.

I logged this issue. For now, I would recommend running the cross-reference command afterwards to make sure the drawings are up to date if you are using the Move Circuit.

Regards,

Pat
