Project Manager subfolder with active drawings missing

Hello. I have encounter strange problem with Project Manager. I have been using AutoCAD for years and never seen this problem. In project manager I organized drawings into logical subfolders for ease of navigation, and I had subfolder 07 SYSTEM, and working with it for a while. And today after opening project, I was surprised to see that subfolder 07 SYSTEM is missing from the list. If I open drawing located in the missing subfolder by navigating manually to it, and try to add active drawing it is grey out which tells me that project manager has this drawing in it. I was trying to find solution but couldn't find anything similar. I opened project .aepx file and tried to make some sense of it, but there are a lot of questions about it, but it definitely missing lines which define missing folder. Since I had them all names starting with numbers I could see that number 8 is missing. I think I could modify this file to include missing subfolder however I am not sure what File ID file File Path means. It is just some number. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Can you located the "wdp" file associated with the project instead of the "aepx" file ?

Yes, it is in the same folder. And it does have all the files included in subfolder which is not displayed in project manager.

Try activating a different project, make a backup of the "aepx" file, however it's not really necessary to do so.

The activate your previous project, does your sub folder show with the drawings now ?

This may work...

Close your project using Project Manager.

Then remove the project  from your "LASTPROJ.FIL", its in your "support/user" folder using notepad.

Then in Project manage click "open project" and see what happens.

Sorry, I forgot to mentioned that I already tried this option. When I was researching this issue I come across the post about some issues with project manager not displaying last open project, and one of the solution was to delete "LASTPROJ.FIL" file as it was potentially corrupted. So I was trying the same but didn't work.

Have you tried to rebuild the project database? AEREBUILDDB at the command line

I didn't. I was cautious to do so, cause in the past I had project file completely screwed up after project rebuild. I can try after backing all up, if it can fix this issue.

For whatever reason,  files with wdp extension not allowed for attachments so I changed extension to .txt

try one more thing,

copy your existing project in explorer to a new name (test.wdp for example), then open with project manage "test" and see if your 07 sub shows correctly

Yesterday it was, there I am not sure what happened. Is it possible to add it to .wdp manually to fix this issue?

Yes,

use notepad. make a backup first.

There are many things/changes that can be done manually.

I would recommend not having either the project active, or not having ACE running.

Thank you for the help. Somehow .wdp file got corrupted, and was able to manually add missing subfolder, and it is all displayed correctly.
