Project manager not showing projects

Whenever I open Electrical 2017 my project manager is not showing the list of projects.  If I open a project the view changes and shows the list of projects.  How do I get it to show them straight away?

Seems like you've set STARTMODE to 0, to get rid of the start-tab?

Set STARTUP to 0 as well. this way, AutoCAD will open with a new blank drawing, and Electrical will be able to execute whatever code it need to execute to populate the project manager.

I downloaded ACADE 2019 over a week ago and the Project Manager only managed to launch twice since then. I have tried all possible solutions on the forum to fix it to no avail.

Do you possibly have another means to resolve this issue?

And you have all the buttons and so on for AutoCAD Electrical? If you go to the project tab in the ribbons, and press the project-button. Still no project manager?

I think I have done that like a hundred times already. I've given up, I'm going to uninstall it. Was trying to migrate from Solidworks electrical to ACADE but cant cope with this hassle.

Try a reset to default first:

Go to the Project tab and click on the button to open the project manager.

Now click on the GEAR icon in the LHS bar and select one of the Anchor options.

This will lock the Project manager window to the selected edge of the drawing area.

You can also select Auto-Hide to hide everything but the bar on the left which will show the window name.

You can do this with the Properties window and other major function windows as well.

Just be careful that you don't have an open window covering the LHS of the screen (or window if running in that view).

Make sure that you are actually starting ACAD Electrical.

When ACADE is installed is installs plain ACAD and then adds all the different modules on top of that.

It also adds TWO IDENTICAL icons to the start menu with the only difference being the description. The first one starts the plain ACAD while the second starts ACAD Electrical. It may also do the same with the Desktop icons and again the only difference is the description.

Plain ACAD will come back with the same error if you try any of the electrical commands even if you load the menus/workspace. There are differences in the software switches depending on the option selected. The switches for ACAD Electrical load all the relevant modules into the program as it starts.
