I am currently creating multiple projects for an end user, which are ultimately going to the same location. Each project has it's own billing code that we use within our projects. Is there a way to have SubProjects within a Main Project Folder structure? Basically, the Main Project, would only have to update the current sheet number and sheet number max as other sub projects are added, I still want the Sub Projects have control over the DWG Name, as each project has a different name. This way, any S/D between projects can be correctly linked between projects without having a "Dead" S/D that is manually manipulated.
Hopefully I explained well enough for someone to follow along. I have an example below of what would be basically in each folder structure below.
Example:
ProjectManager-
MainProject.wdp
MainProject.wdt
MainProject.apex
- SubProject1
- SubProject1.wdp
- SubProject1.wdt
- SubProject1.apex
- SubProject1.dwg
- etc.
- SubProject2
- SubProject2.wdp
- SubProject2.wdt
- SubProject2.dwg
- SubProject2.apex
- etc.
- SubProject3
- SubProject3.wdp
- SubProject3.wdt
- SubProject3.dwg
- SubProject3.apex
- etc.
Thanks,
Joel
