PLC Terminal Type won't save

I have created a few terminal types for PLC.  I have it saved in my file path location as HP1WA-DL_CHILD.  We have this done for multiple others and are using those.  My issue is when I go into PLC Database Editor, select my module, edit the terminal to use this new terminal, select Done or Done/Insert, Pop up box asks if I was to save my changes, I select YES.  The issue is when I go back in to the same module it is not saved.

In the images posted, the first TermTypeChange shows my Terminal Type that I changed it to.  Then to box asking if I want to save.  I immediately go back into PLC Editor and you can see the 3rd posted image with the terminal type back to a previously built type.

We use 2018 and have the most recent update.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Thank you.

Hi there.

i just tried to replicate you problem, without success.

Is the ACE_PLC.MDB located on a server? Are you 100% sure that you have read/write/modify rights to that file?

If the file is on a server, and you are the ONLY user in AutoCAD Electrical, will it work then?

They are on the server, but I am able to create and save things on the server.  I have for many other things we are working on and  have changed many other PLC's we use.  I'm not sure what is going on, but it seems as if I add that in the wdmbblks.bsf file manually it works.  I'm not sure why there was some kind of disconnect with that.

What I did was delete the terminal type in PLC Editor.  Add it to the wdmbblks text file, went back into PLC Editor, changed terminal and saved.  Now it works.  Before I start moving files, can that .bsf file can be in the network location as long as it's in our support file search path?  I would imagine I would just need to rename the file on my computer so it doesn't find it if that can be done.  Doesn't sound like you have had issues with that file before or saving your data.
