PLC parametric selection

im needing a 1763-L16AWA BLOCK PLC I/O LAYOUT AND THERE IS NOT ONE IN THE  parametric selection

any idea how I can get one would rather not build from scratch

The Parametric Build will take the information from the database and build the block from discrete components.

You don't need to actually make the block, you just need to edit the database and add the unit you are looking for into it.

 

Use the PLC Database Editor and find a similar unit from the same brand and see how the database is set out.

Also click on Module Specifications to see what is required there.

 

Next you need to make sure that you have ALL the data on the module at hand.

 

Now you just click on New Module and add the data to match the module you desire.

 

If you have the time, you can play around with the editor to see what happens when you select the different types of terminal connections and so on.

Otherwise, just follow the same sort of layout as used in a 1764 card of the same type.

If you want to put WD_Jumpters please see my previous post. When you save make sure start with ( PLCIO...) at file name.
