pinlist database problem

I have a problem with the pinlist database. When I attempt to start the pinlist database editor, the error message "The database table has non-string values. This utility can not edit it - use Microsoft Access." appears. How can I find these non-string values and eliminate them?

Thanks,

Mickey Smith

Mickey,

I am not sure if this is the exact cause of what you are seeing, but if you
open the DEFAULT_CAT.MDB file in Microsoft Access and look at the Design
View of the _PINLIST table, all the fields in this table should have a data
type of 'Text' except for the first field, RECNUM, which shoudl have a data
type of AutoNumber.

I have attached a graphic showing what the Design View of this table should
look like. If any of the fields that shoudl be Text are set to something
else, like Number, you could receive the error that you are getting.
