Phantom Terminals

Anyone know what causes the phantom terminals in the terminal editor?  I run the terminal editor, my terminals are grouped as TB-1 thru TB-8, I add the end covers to each TB group and insert them onto the terminal layout page.  At some point I go back to the terminal editor because I added a few more terminals to one or more TB groups in the schematics.  After opening the editor terminal selection window I can see that my terminals have doubled, I double click on a TB group to open the editor and I can see empty terminals, I delete them and everything is fine, except I have to re-insert all the groups again, re-balloon etc.  I don't like to redo something I shouldn't have to, just because I added a few terminals to a TB group or two.  The terminals don't necessarily double every time, sometimes it may be a few and not in all the groups, but it is still adds time to my drawing time.

Are you copying terminals with normal AutoCAD copy commands? We have the usual problems with LINKTERM 😕

I do not use ACAD commands with ACADE, the terminals are not copies. I've had issues with phantom terminals as far back as ACADE 2013. I've never been able to figure out where they are coming from. I've been using the terminal editor since ACADE 2010.

When you have the duplicates and you "export to spreadsheet" terminals (panel terminals and stand-alone terminals) to Excel, can you see some anomalies there?

I'll try that when it happens again.
