Part Number based on page number and positon of component in the sheet

Hello All,

I have question, how to assign a part number based on sheet number and position of component in the sheet. For example a Relay is placed in the sheet 2, in column 3, so I want to assign K2.3 and K2.3 automatically is created. In addition, I am wanted to change this part number if I change it to another place.

Thanks a lot a head.

Hi,

Have you try using the components or cross references tab in the drawing properties dialog box?

Just right click your drawing in the project manager, select properties.

You can configure the component tag format to like %F%N%S....

Use the line reference suffix setup as well.
