Panel Footprints - is there a way to remove the info and keep the block?

sometimes on panel inserts, I attach the wrong footprint to a given part

I put the layout block (dumb autocad block) in first, then do a "schematic list insert" manual and pick "choice B" then

"select non autocad electric block"

Rephrase: sometimes I arrange dumb blocks first, then attach the "smart" info later

(suppose I have three contactor sizes in my schematic, but I attached the wrong one to a given footprint)

In this case, wondering if there is a way to "detach" the "smart" info from the basic dumb block.

(I could be making this too complicated, I could just delete the block, and reinsert it "dumb" again)

I guess I don't like to delete, because I already arranged the thing

Is the "smart" info saves in attributes in the block?

If not, use the AEXDATA command to remove the information.

You might have to save the drawing and run e AEREBUILDDB command to reread the information into the project database.
