Multipart symbol with common pin

Hi I wonder if anyone can help,

I'm trying make a component with 2 symbols for a pair of series diodes in an SOT23. The problem I'm having is the common anode cathode pin only has 1 pin on the footprint but 2 pins on the symbols so it throws an unconnected error. In the connection dialogue I only have 3 pads to connect to the pins.

I there anyway around this?

Thanks

Create a symbol without the connection point or mark/ignore the error

And you are using AutoCAD Electrical for electronics? Or are you using Eagle?

Yup. AutoCAD Electrical is more for panel building and automation than electronics 🙂
