Insert Footprint not working

We upgraded to AutoCAD Electrical 2016 and I havent been able to insert a footprint since the upgrade.  Once I select "Catalog lookup" (option A) Autocad Electrical stops working.  I have never had this issue in the past with previous upgrades.  Has anybody had the same issue and was able to fix the problem?

Did you upgrade from AcadE 2015?

If not, have you migrated the database to the latest format, using the Migration Utility?

I upgraded from 2014. I reinstalled the software and that fixed the problem.
