I just installed AutoCAD Electrical 2025, and I changed some settings from CUI menu and properties. But my Home ribbon tab disappeared somehow. How can I bring it back in AutoCAD Electrical 2025?
Have you tried Right-Clicking on the ribbon > Show Tabs > and Enable Home
Since you have made modification to CUI, You can also double check the ribbon setting in CUI of the current ribbon.
Sometimes you just just to drag stuff around and click apply to force an update. For example, Set Home Tab Show option to yes, Drag and move the Home Tab to show after Insert Tab, Drag it back to top and click apply and OK.
Do you have Home tab available under the regular AutoCAD CUI file?
You can check by switching to acad.cuix
If yes, You can try using the Transfer Tab to copy the Home Tab out of acad.cuix to acade.cuix
Default location for cuix file:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD Electrical 2025\R25.0\enu\Support
(AppData is usually a hidden folder so you might want to either type the destination folder address or enable show hidden folders)
And then try dragging and dropping the Home tab to the current ribbon.
If still no luck, You might have to restore your CUIX to default AutoCAD Electrical CUIX and do the customizations all over again. I know its not great but I had to do that when I was first learning how to modify cuix and broke it.
That's why I always take backups now before modifying so I can restore to the last working version if anything goes wrong.
