External jumpers

I cannot find any External jumpers data on terminal blocks. After creating jumpers on the terminals using Terminal Strip Editor I expected to find corresponding attribute or xdata on terminal blocks.

I've found jumpers data in scratch database (in "TERMS" table --> "PAR1_CHLD2" and "JUMPER_ID" columns). If scratch database is deleted and then rebuilt, jumpers data is still there. So, External jumpers data must be kept somewhere on the block or at least in the drawing.

Any idea?

The external jumpers are stored in an extension "dictionary" that isn't visible to us. Think of it as a level of xdata that only the software has access to. The data is attached to both the schematic terminal symbol and the panel footprint for the terminal.

If you delete an external jumper I recommend that you immediately save the drawing file, just to be sure that the extension dictionary values are updated. If you don't save the file after deleting the jumper the TSE might still think the jumper is there.
