How to do it correctly?

These are all good ideas. I am not sure about the content question, but I will try and find out.

Awhile back I did a series on customizing Circuit Builder. Even though the articles are older they still apply to AutoCAD Electrical 2016. If you do a search on Circuit Builder they should come up. But, here are the links. I would look at the articles in order as they build on the previous.
