Editing Wire Number takes >1 min to open

Hi. 

When I right click on a wire and select "Edit Wire Number" it takes >1min for the menu to open. Other menus like insert component jumps up immediately. Why is wire number so slow? And how do I fix it?

Hi there, this is a little odd.  What happens when you select Edit Wire Numbers from the ribbon and then click on the wire to edit?

Hi. I solve it by doing a new project and added the dwg. Thinks something was wonky with search paths.

Have the same problem. Created new project and moved dwgs to it - nothing... Editing the wire number may take about 30 seconds

Have you done this drawing from scratch or is it a legacy from someone else?

I ran across the same issue and wrestled with it for a few hrs. Decided to use ZOOM command before giving up. I noticed Zoom All or Zoom Extents didn't show the contents at all in model space.

I was able to find the lonely star way deep in the galaxy and deleted it.

Everything worked great after that!
