duplicate report list of material in PLC parties in drawings

Hello again, I have a problem when extracting the list of material in what refers to PLC devices that have multiple list of materials and that are distributed in two drawings (PLC split into two drawings) duplicates the multiple material, as you can see in the attachment, there are two 6ES7193-6BP00-0DA0, one in quantity and one in SUB. I hope I explained it well

It's hard to see from the images, but it's the tag PLCIO on one sheet, and PL on the other sheet? That would make 2 devices, i.e. two parts in the BOM.

The only place where I enter it is the multiple material list (sheet 7), and the following drawing is updated (sheet 😎 and that is why I get two, one per drawing, but I don't understand why, because it really is a single PLC component split into two drawings.

Are you aware of parent/child relationships in AutoCAD Electrical?
Only the first one should have a part numbers, and it should be the parent. The second one should be a child of the other one, and shouldn't have any part number assigned.

hi, thanks for helping. yes, I have used parent/child especially for coils and contacts. But it seems that PLCs work in another way. I attach the component edition of the second part of the PLC that is in another drawing, as you can see I cannot edit the catalog (as if it were the child) of the main component (parents) but when extracting the list of materials, I duplicates the multiple material not the main material, can it be a bug? if so, is there any way to contact autodesk so that they can store it in future updates?

While it doesn't seem like PLC's have a parent/child relation, they actually do.

The parent has the TAG1 attribute, while the child has the TAG2 attribute.

Any chance you can share the DWG's with the PLC's so we could have a quick look?

There are catalog data saved in the xdata of the second half of the PLC.

Use the AEXDATA command and delete all attributes that ends with "01"

It's "impossible" to says now, how these have appeared here 😕

Thank you very much, that solves the problem, but I think that extended data is created automatically. that when creating a plc in two drawings does not create that extended data? is it possible to create the plc again without that data?

https://screencast.autodesk.com or something similar to record the prices you use when inserting the PLC? And then share that with us?

I think I know what the problem is, in PLCs the multiple list of materials does not work. if not the assemblies. you have to create them in the database Attached capture of a module with connection terminal

I have checked, effectively in these plcs that use terminal bases (such as the relay and the relay base) you have to use your assembly the main component (input module) (ASSEMBLYCODE) and secondary (connection connections) (ASSEMBLYLIST) and everything works correctly. the multiple material lsta works but the problem is when you have the parametric plc distributed in several drawings, it will tell you the amount put for each drawing in which it is.

That I think, because so many divisions of PLC in drawing we do so many times is going to create that catalog of multiple material. do you expose these kinds of issues to autodesk people? read these forums to know what is going on? Thanks a lot

I've fiddled a little with this this morning, but I'm not able to replicate the duplicates using assembly codes or multiple BOM. Could it be a problem with the Spanish version of AcadE?

hello, with assembly codes works well for me. But with multiple material list is when I duplicate.

Don't you duplicate the multiple material list of PLCs? however I will also try to make an installation with the English version. in case that were the problem
