I'm seeking to install Allen Bradley I/O Modules into the 'PLC Parametric Selection' library. Specifically, the 5069 Compact 5000™ I/O modules. These are not included in the current AB AutoCAD library. How to do this?

this is such and old complaint its no longer a joke

you go to the Eplan data portal and see how much more parts data are in this ACADE

then you go to WSCAD universe and check out their parts database

the you go to see electricals parts database

then what you need to do is find out who the Autodesk manager for ACADE

and tell him your software is a joke

their stock response is manufactures don't want to give them data

your response is why can the above ECAD solutions get the manufactures to supply the data and Autodesk cant

which you wont get a response or a vague non response

you just have to accept the stock answer you can program it your self

Thanks, I pretty much exhausted my search on this and figured out how to add new modules. At the ribbon - Other Tools - PLC Database File Editor - New Modules.

Thank you. It took a while to find I was able to figure it out in searching through the topics. It's exactly per the link you provided.

If you are using a REAL CAE program, you'll just do like this:

I really like the ability to tear the controller image into several parts and change the distance between the terminals. I recently created a programmable relay and divided it into several parts: power supply, RS485, digital and analog inputs and outputs.

And then, as changes happen, all of the time, put them back together again! 😄

No, I added the circuit to the graphical menu.
