Dimension Nodes matching PTYPE setting

Good morning all!

This morning when I put some dimensions in some drawings, the nodes took on the same properties of my PTYPE settings. This hasn't happened on any other drawings and don't understand why it's doing it now.

I looked for a setting to turn them off, but unable to find it.

Does anyone have a thought?

They are there because hidden point from civil drawing or xref, or something else not from the dimension as shown here.

This is AutoCAD Electrical, has nothing to do with Civil or X-references. This doesn't happen in all my drawings, it just happened to do this in a couple of drawings. I've never seen the ptype style overwrite the dim style nodes on the dimension lines.

Does this happen in every new dimension?

If you copy/paste that screenshot portion into your other files, do the dimensions change to what you want or do they stay the same?
Did you not start this file from the same template as all of your other files by chance?

Hi @acclarkJR2TJ

If you run the DIMSTY command to check the dimension style, what are the arrows set to?

What is the point style set to (PTYPE), Do you need it set to the special one or a dot style would be fine?
