Delete Multiple Components

Hi there,

On AE schematic, I know it's is best practice to right click and click delete an component, but how do I do the AE delete component function for multiple components?

Should I just use conventional delete multiple components and do a AEREBUILDDB?

Thanks,

Hi Yan

You are correct, however you can select the "delete component" command from the Ribbon bar first and then do a window select of all the components on the drawingsheet.  This will ensure that all the components are deleted from the database all the wire gaps will be closed. 🙂

Hope this helps

Best regards

Marc

After clicking the icon, type 'W' and press enter to enable the window selection.
