Copy Project 2023Autocad Electrical

I have been trying to use the Aecopyproject command like in previous versions. However, selecting and deselecting the check box makes no difference. I need to rename and number the drawings but this feature does not allow users to operate like 22.

What checkbox are you unchecking?

A screenshot would be nice.

See attached screen shot. The check box I am referring to is the "Use selected project as template check box."

So, with this checkbox checked, you do NOT get the dialog where you select files etc.?

If you look at the command line, are there any errors listed?

No I opened up the extended terminal and I get no errors it just copies the project without prompting anything. Everyone else who is running 20232 in my office is having this issue. It is one of the issues forcing us to roll back to our 2013, 2012 licenses.  Which are thankfully unsupported by Autocad.

Just to test... Is this project specific? If you try to copy one of the demo projects, will it work then?

No this question focuses more on the copy function itself. I copied the example projects and it was the same issue. It just copied the project. I then uncheck the box and I get the same results. I followed the documentation for 23 and it does not seem to align with what is going on. If I get the time I will share a screen recording.

Do you have a lot of customizations? Could it be that AutoCAD Electrical is loading some old version of the "copy project" code?

If you reset AutoCAD Electrical back to default, will it copy as expected then?

We should have no customizations to the base model of AutoCAD Electrical the project was made using 2012 Autocad. Would that have an affect on the copy project command.

2012 should be fine.

Have you made changes to wd.env, making it point to networked locations?

Yeah 2023 has not been able to be networked yet because the catalog database has not been completely moved over yet. So, using 2012 is a better alternative for now. There seems to be an abundance of features in 2023 but they seem to have lost sight of the fundamentals changing basic things such as copy paste. Paper space also seems to be giving people issues. So, that will probably be a question for another day.

Haven't heard of anyone having this issue.

Are you running the English language AcadE 2023?

I will record a screen capture video and upload it for clarification.
