Control Relay Contact Cross References

Hi Everyone,

I'm using AutoCAD Electrical 2024 to make PLC IO drawings. I have a drawing with 16 control relays inserted into a ladder for the control relay coil wiring. I have another drawing that shows the contact wiring for those control relays. I used the "Relay Form-C Contacts" icon and associated it with a parent control relay. When looking at the drawing of the parent control relay, it lists the "NO" and "NC" contact usage for the relay. However, it shows that both contacts are used on the same ladder rung, when they are 1 rung apart. Is it possible to have the cross reference of each contact to align with the actual ladder rung it's on? I've attached some pictures to show how I have it setup.

One thing to note, I used the symbol builder to increase the distance between the NO and NC contacts to align with my rung spacing, as the standard form c icon has the contacts very close together.

I'm pretty sure you can't get that to work using a single symbol. It's the insertion point of the symbol that counts. You might be able to make it work with two symbols, and a "jumper wire" between the common pins.

But, how important is it?
