Change the font style for wire numbers only

Hello,

Does anyone know of a way to change the font style for wire numbers and nothing else? I know of one way but I'm not sure it is correct. The only way I can think of is to edit the wire number block itself and change the text style in symbol builder, then save, overwrite and do a project wide swap block. My only issue with this method is I have always tried not modifying Autocads default components and saving over them.

I need a different font style for the wire numbers because I will be using mathematical symbols (the sine wave) and cannot just do a project wide font style change as all of the text on my existing components will no longer be positioned correctly.

I am doing the same for source and destination arrows but that's an easy one, I can just create a custom block for those.

Any ideas would be great! it's been so long since I have needed to modify text I have forgotten how alot of it works.

You are absolutely right in your thought about workflow.

If you don't want to overwrite the existing ones, just put them in a separate folder and make sure that folder is "higher" in the list of schematic library folders in the project properties.
