Change Plot Settings Project Wide

Anonymous

When I recieve drawing files from a customer to modify, the drawings are usually set up to their plotter.

I have to go through the project, one drawing at a time, & change the plot settings to my plotter in order to print the drawings.

I need a way to change ALL plot settings at once so that I don't have to do this one drawing at a time.

The way I solve this is to first create a new project and adding all the drawings needed from the customer.

I then open one of the drawings in the project and start the command "pagesetup".

Here I create a new Page Setup and modify it as per my needs.

I find it helpful to use the "DWG To PDF" as my plotter. Then when I plot my drawings, I get them in one .pdf- file that I can save on the company server and later print to paper if needed.

I then start "Publish to PDF/DWF/DWFx" and select the drawings I want to plot.

Then in the "Publish"- screen, I select all the drawings that does not have the right page setup, select Import under the Page Setup row, browse to the drawing I changed the page setup for and Imports the setup.
