When I insert the CAD Block IEC 60617 HAN1S Miscellaneous "Siren"  it does not seem to "break" the wire and causes all sorts of mayhem with wire numbering and the like

I just tried in the IEC60617DEMO project, and didn't have any problem.
Can you share a drawing with the symbol in it? Then I'll take a look at it.

Hi rhesusminusThanks for your help in advance.

I have copied the wire numbers to the right of the terminals to show the behavior.

I have not done a [ Reports ] / [DWG Audit] as this will "break" all of the wire numbering due to the wire being seen as "continuous" across the siren symbol.

Change X1TERM01 to X1TERM02 and it should work just fine.

Ahh.. I'm running AcadE 2021. Maybe they've fixed it now 😄

I am running 2019 and am still finding the very rare library symbol with incorrect x_term__ designations.  I agree that fixing the right hand termination attribute should solve the problem.

Just double checked. It's NOT fixed in 2021.
I read that it didn't break the wire. Didn't see the "not trigger wire number change" part...

Crossing my fingers to see this fixed in release 2022 😂
