Hello, I am generating BOM from my drawings in Autocad Electrical 2016 and it gives mea general form in excel sheet. I want to access more information from my drawings like date, revision, project number etc and also add the company details to top of that excel sheet. I am not sure how can I do it. Do I have to create a macros in excel and run it everytime or go for VBA script in Autocad and it can be done in that way. The screen shots below are posted for much more detail to what I needed.
Thanks

Hi there,
In 2014 you go Project > Reports and on the Reports flyout the first selection is Schematic, that maybe what you are using. A few selections down you will see Report Format File Setup. You want to select the type of report you want to customize. The button you are looking for is Change Report Fields. If you want to add more fields to the Available Fields list use the Help to walk your way through that. Remember that the report is driven by attributes. If it is not an attribute in the drawing the report tool will not extract it.
Good Luck, please mark this if it is a solution and Kudos are always welcome.
