AutoCAD Keeps changing my lowercase to capital

When I try to edit an attribute it always changes my lowercase letters to capital. How do I change this? I'm using AutoCAD Electrical 2019

Under your project properties component tab bottom uncheck the box Description text to upper case.  This is check by default.

Exactly, and this functionality needs revised.  There should be an exceptions list populated with SI units.

I want the text to be automatically converted to uppercase, just not things like mA, kW, Hz, Vac, pH, kg, mm etc... I could go on.

Right, I've been using AutoCAD mechanical for 8 years and just switched to Electrical for a new job and I need to write electrical tags lowercase so this helps our tremendously, even more so if it could identify units
