Why is AutoCAD Electrical's Project Manager not incorporated in plain AutoCAD?

It would be helpful for those not using AutoCAD Electrical to be able to manage (i.e. view, organize, copy, print, etc.) projects from their machine if they only had. AutoCAD. Maybe I have not thought through all of the ramifications.

Just a quick thougth...
Maybe Autodesk want people working with (i.e. view, organize, copy, print, etc.) Electrical Projects to actually buy AutoCAD Electrical?
So that they can create a PDF with hyperlinks and so on?

My comment question was intended to be more of a suggestion than anything. I had trouble discerning where else to place my comment. 😉

It seems to me that the AutoCAD Electrical (ACE) Project Manager is practically a Sheet Set Manager on steroids, especially if you include ACE features like Title Block Setup and Project Tools > Utilities (and maybe others?). The later incorporates the ability to run scripts on batches of drawings, native to the program, which I've found to be very helpful. Just some thoughts.

Sounds like a good idea for Vanilla's IdeaStation...
