When will you release the new update to fix the Microsoft Access Database Engine Bug?

Autodesk should have earlier access to the Microsoft updates and should be able to come up with an update in a short period of time after the Microsoft came up with theirs. It is not realistic for all of us - the users - to troubleshoot your software (that we have purchased for its features and functionality and expect to have a working product) and spend countless hours through forums and internet pages to find a solution to these issues. I also see the solution to downgrade the Database Engine to a 2010 as a band-aid solution so that we can still use the basic features of the AutoCAD Electrical. If Autodesk has decided to use Microsoft database engine behind its software then it needs to be up to speed with the changes being made by Microsoft.

im tempted to ask what about all those bugs in the software which have been in it for a number of years but have not been fixed

but knowing autodesk either you will delete this post or ignore the fact that you not adressing the main problems but putting a band aid on an amputation

Remember, pushing out a new 'version' of the software each year doesn't allow time for any beta testing.

Beta testing for AutoCAD products has been performed by end users for at least 15 years. No one on the planet has bought or licensed a fully functional, tested, debugged AutoCAD product in this century.

Furthermore, there's usually only one, at most two, service packs for any one version. Hard to offer more support than that when you're worried about banging out a 'new' version every 12 months. And these service packs never address the full spectrum of the problems that arise with each release. Rather, they seem to only deal with the problems for which we cannot establish our own workarounds. (It's like they pay attention to the forums, but not for implementing new features - it's more so they can find the things that end users can't fix on their own.)

We are all mistaken if we expect a completed product to land on our desktops. I use ACADE 2017, and it's not perfect, and it's been out for three years. In fact, Autodesk is about to stop supporting it because of its age even though there are large portions of it that need to be addressed.

I have zero faith that newer versions designed for newer operating systems would be any different.

i find this a bit confusing as autodesk claims it the largest cad company out there but cant fix there own bugs

thats a bit strange as its competitors which have far more complex products manage to fix there bugs and issue hot fixes in a timely fashion
