AutoCAD Electrical 2018 block editor questions

Not applicable

I am setting up my template page and I am having some issues with the block editor. I have my title block all done except when I go back to the main page and double click on the title block for the prompts, the names I changed everything to do not appear in the pop up. The default names that were used are all that appear. Also on the border I have more of a question than an issue, I am changing the line reference numbers by hand but I would like to link the first number to the page number some how. Does anyone know if that is possible?

Hi there,

I hate to be the one to say it but there is a little more to setting up the template title block than what you have described here.  And for the reference numbers, yes you can.  The screen shot is what I get when I right click on the active project in the Project Manager and select Properties.  It looks like you are using a different title block than I do but the setting is in there somewhere.  The %S is for the sheet number %N is the reference number.  IEC is setup a little differently but I do not use that style.

Good luck

A few tips ...

Scroll down this page and you will find some good tips.  Not really a tutorial but good guild lines.

If you edit attributes in a block that's already inserted in a drawing, like the titleblock, you must run the ATTSYNC command to synchronize the changed attributes.
