AutoCAD 2027 customization annoyance

AutoCAD Electrical specifically allows users to edit certain LISP programs to customize reporting options.  Why is AutoCAD Electrical 2027 complaining about my custom pnlcomp.lsp, comp.lsp and other LISP customizations now, recommending that I don't load MY OWN LONG-STANDING, WELL CUSTOMIZED SYSTEM!

Frustrating that I now have to find out how to suppress this annoyance.  You're trying to disrupt my workflow for dubious reasons... reasons that have no place in my work environment.

how about Autodesk just doesn't put security signatures on files that were designed to be customized?

I'm presuming SECURELOAD = 0 will negate all security features though?  Maybe I need to look for how to add such files to the "trusted list."

Reporting functions in AutoCAD Electrical have always included the option to do post-processing controlled by the user modifying the provided LISP programs, and accessing that code through the User Post interface...

 

So when I run my Automatic Reports function under ACE 2027

... the following customized .lsp files gather data and output a .xls file intended for tag printing, pre-formatted for import to the tag printer program.

These files from what I've seen have remained unchanged over the course of many releases, except for the addition of a security signature appearing at the bottom.

I hope is there going to be a way to permanently prevent ACE from complaining that you've customized your customizable files?  I can simply hit load, and I'm not asked again within the session, or maybe until I load another project, I haven't tested that far yet.  But if I accidentally hit "do not load" my auto-reporting will crash, and I have to restart ACAD to get prompted again.

@james_moore Looks like with your new 2027 software installation you forgot the need to add your LISP folders to this in OPTIONS, and why you get the security alerts. This need has been around for quite a few versions now and you and someone did it for your in your last version

Good catch, thank you! Looks likely... I'll check my previous installation.  I honestly don't remember having done this previously, maybe a little at a time when prompted.  I would expect this to be covered when I import my 2026 user profile.arg file though!

Sure enough, there are a collection of folders I included to trust previously that are not in my new installation.  Thanks again.
