Assembly Data Not Showing Up On BOM

Hello,

I have created an Assembly for some misc parts I want to add to a BOM. The assembly code is for 4 labels that belong on a control panel. When I click multiple catalog, the values show up as expected.

However, when I run a BOM report, the items do not show up. The thing I can't figure out is the part only don't show up when running a "Display in Tallied Purchase List Format"

Also, If I am to remove all the other assembly parts, except for the labels, they do show up on the BOM.

Does anyone know the reason for this and how to resolve the issue. I know I can list out each assembly code part individually  (1041817;1010910;1010915;1010922;2,254-008) , but there is a character limit on the assembly code value and the assembly will exceed that limit in some cases.

• Are you running a panel BOM with all schematic components "not referenced"?
• The component with the tag "139" is a schematic part. Is this inserted into a panel drawing?
• Are all data located in the default_cat, or are some located in a secondary database?

To answer your questions, I am running a schematic BOM and all the components are located in our main catalog database under the same table.

Like I said before, this does work if I insert "labelsSD" as the only part in the assembly code field. However, if I add another component to the assembly code "labelsSD;OTHERPART" then the label parts do not show up.

Not sure what's causing this. I guess I need your default_cat.mdb (or whatever database you're using) to try to replicate this...

We are using SQL for our database, but this can be replicated. The way you shown will work since you are individually listing each part under the assembly code. But if you group them together it doesnt work.

For exmaple,

I added these parts to the database

All parts show up when doing a "Catalog Check"

Parts do not show up when running a BOM in "Tallied Purchase List Format"

If I do a BOM in any other format, the parts do show up.

To add onto the confusion, if I only add one part under the assembly code, it works.

I can replicate this, and. I consider this one of many bugs.

You should report it to Autodesk using the support channel. We've tried to tag Autodesk employees I know in here, but they're ignoring them completely now.
