I have a BOM in excel which has parts that are not included in the AutoCAD Electrical Catalog.

I there a quick way to add information to the AutoCAD Electrical Cataogue using a cut/paste

method.

Hopefully a method that would allow me to put many parts in the catalog at one time using cut/paste.

Thank you,

If you are using release 2015 or newer the Catalog Browser functions in a similar fashion to a spreadsheet.  You can add new records by using familiar right-click, copy, paste, as you would with a spreadsheet.  You will need to select the appropriate table within the Catalog Browser and click the pencil button to enable Edit mode.  You will need to arrange the columns in you spreadsheet to correspond to the order of the fields in the Catalog Browser.  You cannot, and should not, re-order the fields in the Catalog Browser.
